Remember when we were kids and always looked forward to Saturday morning cartoons and played hours on end on our favorite gaming console trying to save that Princess? A young and-up-in coming designer named Deric A. Cofer of D.A.C. Designs brought me back to my childhood with his retro yet contemporary t-shirt designs. I first met Deric at Daisy’s NYC Fashion Show. My first impression of him was… brilliant smile with a sense of childlike innocence. When I first saw his designs they stood out in a nostalgic way due to his interpretation and re-inventing of well-known cartoons, gaming imagery and his use of surprising elements. I had the pleasure of interviewing Deric and further discovered his creative conceptual process.
